MARCH 2012: We are currently accepting orders for the 2012 Iris Season. We have added over 65 new varieties this season and have also brought back some old favorites.
We are a tall bearded iris garden located in the wine country in the town of Santa Rosa, California. If you've found our secret little garden tucked away in the back roads of Sonoma County then you are in for a nice Spring treat. Many of you have visited the past few years and joined in our excitement of seeing our iris grow and thrive here in the valley. They are wonderful flowers that are easy to grow and go nicely in any garden plan either by themselves or with a variety of companion plants.
We offer several varieties through the garden, online or by mail now through August 15th. The garden is open in the Spring (April 20th - May 20th, Fri, Sat, & Sun) to allow you to view the iris in bloom and make your selections. If you cannot make it to the garden, please enjoy touring our website. You can use Paypal (they take Visa, Mastercard, etc.) to make easy online payments or you can download a copy of our order form to send your order through the mail.
This year we have five new introductions of our own including one by our daughter, Bree. Loving to bike ride she named it after the local GranFondo put on each year by Levi Leipheimer here in Santa Rosa. Please see our INTRODUCTIONS page for more details.
Remember that certain iris varieties are very popular and tend to sell out so be sure to order early so as not to be disappointed. Orders will be shipped July through August and should be planted as soon as possible after they arrive. All orders are shipped via UPS.
GARDEN UPDATE 5/17/12: It is the last weekend, your last chance to see the iris in bloom and the weather is supposed to be great. There are still a lot of iris in bloom out here. There's also still time to order rhizomes for next year's spring bloom or if you prefer we still have a lot of pots available with blooms that you can take home now and enjoy. New to the garden recently, we have a beautiful selection of Stephanie Scott cards that you will love! Don't forget to order early as we are already selling out of several varieties. Catch Ross at the Farm Markets in Santa Rosa (new location this weekend at the Wells Fargo Center) and in Sebastopol this weekend (the 19th and 20th).
